Born and raised in West London, Sumit Sharma is an accomplished Public Speaker, Technologist and mentor to many. He studied Business IT in Birmingham, has been a Toastmaster President and now hosts a podcast!
His work has seen him travel the world to present, coach and engage in dialogue with students, professionals and volunteers.
Working alongside national charities, international student organisations and global companies, Sumit regularly chairs panel discussions, thought leadership exercises and workshops globally.
Sumit’s passions lay in Technology, Communication and Wellness, he is engaged in a portfolio of projects that call for social change, sustainability and the development of plurality and cohesion.
Whilst maintaining a successful career in the Information Technology Sector as a Technical Director in the Cloud & AI space, Sumit likes to practise kickboxing, road cycling and meditation.
Sumit has coached 1000s of individuals in person and online, through his own value-based methodology. He has taken to stages such as the Google Cloud Summit in London, City of London Remembrance Day Service through to the World Hindu Congress in Chicago. Regularly interviewing experts, conducting podcasts and hosting discussions on topics such as AI, Dharma, public speaking and womanhood.
He serves as a Professional mentor at Birmingham City University, has raised money for various charities and is open to NED positions at institutions and organisations.
His most notable projects are hosting The Vichaar Manthan Podcast, which has been heard/watched in over 43 countries over 50 episodes with 20k cross platform plays. He also founded the Vaani Speakers Academy, which has seen over 30 graduates go through the programme and regularly represent at key events throughout the year, across the UK.
