Pedalling for a Selfless Cause with Cycle 4 Sewa 🚲
I recently participated in Cycle 4 Sewa, a charity cycling event held at the Hillingdon Cycle Circuit. The event brought together cyclists of all abilities to raise money for Sewa UK, a nonprofit that works to raise funds for those in need.
Sewa, a Sanskrit term defined as “selfless service,” is a core principle behind the organization’s mission.
We cycled around the scenic Hillingdon circuit, enjoying the ride and camaraderie while contributing to a worthy cause. Sewa UK relies on fundraising events like Cycle for Sewa to continue their vital work.
Overall a fun day, blessed by the sun’s rays ☀ and community spirit, there were team events, courses for the younger children, and the individual event, which saw us see how many laps we could endure in a timed event (which I think I won, but I’m not sure 😉 )
Like all great events, it’s not just those taking part, but the volunteers who are fundamental to the event’s success, so a massive thank you to all involved!
If you’re interested in supporting Sewa UK’s mission, consider donating or participating in future Cycle for Sewa events. Together, we can make a difference! https://sewauk.org/Donate
